Paying your credit card off in full every month is a good way to improve your credit score. You want to always pay you bills on time. You dont want to pay any extra interest or fees on a credit card or loan than you have to. Payment history and available balanced used are too parts of your credit score that you can improve by always paying your card off in full every month.

The number one way to improve your credit score is to pay off your credit card bill in full every month. You can ensure that this is done by using your credit card like a debit card. In other words, only buy things with it that you have the money for today. Live within your means. This will ensure that you don’t pay crazy interest rates on all of the stuff that you buy, and it will improve your credit score, allowing you to have lower interest rates on a home mortgage or business loan. Most importantly, it will help you get away from a materialist mindset, and you will learn that happiness isn’t found in “stuff”.

    Great comments. Let’s recap.

    (1) The #1 way to improve your credit score is to pay your bills on time. Focus all of your efforts in making sure your bills are paid on time and your score will go up over time.

    (2) How? Get organized and have your bills automatically paid and/or you receive reminders when they are due.

    (3) Make your system simple and sustainable so you can do it over long periods of time without mishaps along the way.

    (4) That high credit score can save you thousands of dollars over time especially when you buy a home. Take this issue very seriously.

    (5) YOU are the answer!
