Someone should really take a step back and look at there life. They need to think about what really makes them happy. They need to realize that objects don’t make you happy and you will never be truly happy if you keep trying to buy things to make you happy.

If you look at what makes you happy and see what will give you a lasting effect. You will see that things and stuff will not bring that long term effect. You will always want more and want the newest things if you get caught up on that. You need to get past the point of seeing having stuff as important in life and see what impact you can make on others lives to make yourself happy you can make other people happy.

    Well said, gentlemen. Let’s review.

“Stuff” brings a momentary feeling of happiness that will quickly fade (hedonic treadmill). The earlier in life one learns this truth, the faster they can get going down the path toward finding true happiness that will not fade. How? I would read Financial Happine$$ by Mike Finley and Your Money or Your Life by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin for many of these answers.
