John Bogle is the founder of Vanguard and the father of index funds. He has been a teacher of financial literacy and not a sales men of financial junk. He has set out to help people get the best return on their money through the low fee index funds at Vanguard. He has wrote some of the best books on the subject of invest there is in may peoples opinions. He has wrote “the little book of common sense investing” and “common sense on mutual funds”. Both of these books being very informative and not really trying to sell you stuff. He wants people to go with Vanguard through no personal gain of his, he is no longer the head of the company, he just wants people to better themselves through the services that they offer. Bogle and Buffet are the 2 people you should listen too above all others when it comes to investing, they have the most experience and they have always been out to help others when they can.

    Outstanding, Garrett! Let’s review.

John Bogle is a teacher, not a salesperson. It is CRITICAL that you learn about the world of money from teachers rather than salespeople (financial advisor, investment broker, life insurance agent, etc.). The books Garrett mentioned can lead you down a path of investing enlightenment when you are ready to take that journey. Take that journey!
