You need life insurance if somebody relies on your income to live. If nobody relies on your income to live, you DO NOT need life insurance. If you do need life insurance, you should buy TERM life insurance. This is because the other types of life insurance are full of commissions and high fees.

You should only ever get life insurance if someone depends on your income. If no one depends on you do not get it. You should never get an annuity or cash value life insurance, the costs of those will eat up any benefit that they had, you should only get a term policy from or, they offer the best prices for the best plans you can get.

You can buy those cheap term policies at places like or Avoid spending time in a life insurance office. The salesperson will be pushing you toward those expensive cash-value policies that go by the name of whole life, traditional life, and variable life. AVOID them and the salespeople who peddle them.
