  1. Garrett Haag says:

Money can help you achieve your goals in your life, such as getting your own house, going to school, making a better life for yourself, or being able to retire when you want to, but if you get caught up on money you will not enjoy your life. If you get consumed with trying to get as much money as you can, and neglecting everything else in your life, like working 80 hours a week. You will never spend any time with your friends and family. That may seem appealing at first but when you look back on your life did the money really make you happy and do you wish you could do it all over just to spend time with people who loved you.

Money can create a comfort in your life if you save enough to pay your bills and fund your future as well as reach the point where you can do good things for others or worthwhile organizations. However, money can be a huge burden on your shoulders if you have debt that gets deeper each month because of high interest rates or poor bill paying practices.
It is up to you but changes can be made to make money work for you and reach the point of enough and have the happiness/comfort that comes with it.

I like those answers. Well done! Here is my take on the issue.

Money is just that, money. It is not bad nor is it good. The key is to use the money in our lives wisely and appropriately based on our values and our ability to make this world a slightly better place. How we deal with the money is the ultimate answer that will make it your friend or your enemy. The book, Financial Happine$$ provides insight into this very delicate and important issue.
