Money can control you or you can control money. How does a person put themselves in control of their money?

  1. Thomas Graham says:

You put yourself in control of your money when you stop letting your wealth define you. You can do this by saving your money every month instead of spending it all. You can implement the 30 day waiting period before buying something. Understanding that money will ultimately not bring you more happiness than you can bring yourself. Money is the answer to only a few of life’s problems. When you try to answer all of life’s problems with money, you are being controlled by money.

Well said, Thomas. I thought you captured the answer quite well. Let me add my two cents. When a person detaches their self-image, self-esteem, and self perception from money and “stuff” they become free to live the life of THEIR dreams.

Use money to make those dreams come true. Rather than dreaming about money or “stuff” as some kind of great end game. Once you capture this concept, you are FREE. That is something money and “stuff” can never really do. Believe it!
