Financial Happine$$ comes to those who know who they truly are. Advertising executives don’t like this one bit. Why?

Because they can’t make money off of those who know who they truly are and are financially happy. Advertising executives produce messages that feed on your emotions (fear and greed). They “sell” “coolness”, happiness, popularity, etc. If you know who you truly are and are financially happy, you won’t purchase their product, which means they don’t make as much money.

Outstanding, Katherine! You got your point across clearly and succinctly. Let’s recap. Advertising feeds off people with low self-esteem as they seek to associate success, coolness, popularity, happiness, etc. with their particular product (this is why you see many sports and entertainment figures endorsing products). This approach is very effective for THEM, not YOU. Chasing after “stuff” to find happiness will take you down a hole of despair and broken promises. Don’t let it happen to you.

It is critical that you work on identifying who you are and what you want to be and do in life. DO NOT let others tell you. YOU tell YOU. This takes a bit of inner reflection as you try to answer those difficult questions, but you MUST do it if you truly want to bring happiness into your life. Look within for the answers. It’s worth it. You’re worth it!
