  1. Katherine Graham says:

“‘Most investors, both institutional and individual, will find the best way to own common stocks is through an index fund that charges minimal fees. Those following this path are sure to beat the net results (after fees and expenses) delivered by the great majority of investment professionals.’ – Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway chairman 1996 Shareholder Letter”

  2. Katherine Graham says:

“NEVER attempt to time the market. The greatest investor of our time (Warren Buffet) tells us to invest in index mutual funds and ignore the ‘experts.'”

  3. Mike Finley says:

Once again, Katherine provided a clear and concise answer. The next time someone tells you how to invest your money (financial advisor, life insurance agent, TV pundit, Bob in the break room, etc.), consider their recommendation, and then consider what Warren Buffett recommends. I will go with Warren Buffett anyway of the year.
